At Urbanest everyone moves in and gets to know each other at the same time. Tenancies start from January and finish at the end of Decemebr. of course, if you don’t want to move out during vacations, we will welcome you for another year and you can simply roll your contract over.
If something comes up and you need to leave we won’t hold you to your agreement as long as you find someone to replace you in your room.
Rental payments are made really simple, most customers prefer to pay quarterly but the choice is yours.
Payment options are fortnightly, quarterly or annually.
Your rental bond is just 4 weeks rent, paid before you move in and as long as there is no damage to your apartment other than fair wear and tear we will refund it in full when you move out
Most customers pay rent via direct debit but if you don’t yet have an Australian bank account you can pay by credit card in regular instalments and we will help you set up a bank account for direct debit once you have moved in. Or if you pay quarterly or a year in advance you can pay by electronic funds transfer.
We have taken great care over our buildings to make sure they look their best and we know you will too. However, sometimes things do happen.
If you cause any damage beyond normal wear and tear we will put it right for you and simply charge you the cost.
We guarantee we will not increase your rent during the length of your agreement.
When you book online you will be able to view and accept your rooming agreement straight away. You will also receive an email with your rooming agreement and some other important documents attached.
Your rooming agreement will be filled in for you already so all you need to do is check it thoroughly and sign it.
Please complete and sign the documents and return them to the address supplied within 14 days.
When you book with us we will ask you for details of the person we should contact in the event of an emergency, we may also contact this person if you are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to pay your rent
